“I bought these about a year ago. They were just what I wanted - smart lights that I could control with my Home app, with the ability to change the colors based on the season and holiday. The colors were very good, and plenty bright. The white, opaque plastic cover lights up uniformly, also what I wanted. Unfortunately, some pretty heavy storms blew through here a while back, and some water got into one (or more) of the bulbs, and shorted out half of the strings. I contacted Govee to see if there was something I could do to troubleshoot the issue, and they walked me through a handful of tests, and then, astoundingly, sent me a replacement string! They were friendly and helpful over the week and a half that I was in contact with them.
I considered knocking a star off of the 'weatherproof' rating, but honestly, they made it through many other rain and snow storms without an issue, and the storms that finally knocked it out were pretty intense, so I left it at 5.I
