I recently switched from AT&T Fiber which had good service but the landscapers in my neighborhood kept cutting the lines because they weren’t buried deep enough. So I decided to try T-Mobile home. Great service on the floor with the router but it could not handle my 3-story home. Since I work from home, this was a problem with Zoom calls freezing up all the time.. "Bought this in March of 2023... it has solid data transfer and holds up multiple devices with excellent connection speeds.
This is my 6th month review, and it has held up better than I could've expected. 4x ethernet ports and a USB connector, with WiFi function at both 2.4Ghz and 5Ghz ranges and an option to run a guest network. Using it on a 300Mbps ISP connection and consistently get greater than purchased speeds. Constantly running 2 gaming consoles, a TV, 2 computers and 2 phones plus the devices of whomever comes to visit, with ease.
The manufacturer's warranty lasts for a year after purchase, but the support agents are a little basic. (I called for an issue which turned out to NOT be an issue with the router). Regardless, if they can't solve it over the phone with you, they will give you an option to RMA the device (which is nice). The app is also pretty useful with options to diagnose and troubleshoot your connection, recommended actions and remote restart capabilities, as well as a built-in speed test.
I can't comment much on the range (because #ApartmentLife) but it covers at least 1200 sqft with no dead spots. I do recommend this for gaming, streaming services and working from home as well as causal browsing. Great product and price!"

"Replaced an older ASUS which was dropping connections and lagging often. My laptop was right below it and it still would drop. So far so good with the AX3000. No drops and strong signal. Also good to get WiFi6 and better network Administration. One point worth a mention is that to use their extra AiProtection offering including malicious site blocking and a couple of other advanced options you must agree to share your data with TrendMicro.
